Florida Math League Results

Community School of Naples recently competed in the Florida Math League's Annual Contest, which pits top middle schools from across the state in a one-day math competition.

Each of the CSN middle school grades competed in the event with the 8th grade team leading the way to earn a 5th place finish in the state. The top individual finishers were Leaf Kalikow who tied for 6th in the state, followed by Eli Melnick (tied for 17th) and Jack Ciabaton (tied for 21st). In the Broward, Collier, Miami-Dade region, CSN was the top school and Leaf took top individual honors. Eli was 3rd and Jack was 4th

The 6th grade team finished 2nd in the region and 10th statewide. James Richardson and Sebastian Dounchis tied for 3rd in the region and for 24th place statewide.  

The 7th grade team finished 2nd in the region and 18th in the state, behind a top score from John Neumann, who captured 4th in the region.
