CSN Middle School Honors Students in a Unique Knighting Ceremony
On April 17th, CSN Middle School celebrated its annual Knighting Ceremony, with Good King David and the lovely Queen Jacqueline welcoming 65 new 7th grade knights to its realm. Students, parents, and several Lower School classes attended this year’s Knighting Ceremony, which honors the efforts and achievements of every 7th grade history student; all spent the majority of third quarter learning about all things medieval, from the feudal system to the justice system, and everything in between. One of the highlights of the ceremony included hearing about the good deeds—based on character education values—performed by each student in his effort to earn the move from squire to knight.
The ceremony was punctuated by several student performances, which showcased talent from singing to acrobatics to musical instrumentation to a fencing demonstration—spectators were even treated to a medieval Law & Order episode!
