Back in February, CSN sixth-graders formed a STEM Club, an opportunity to come together in pursuit of greater understanding in science, technology, engineering and math. During lunchtime each Tuesday, students met to study the four principles of flight, and built paper rockets using what they learned.
On Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9, the students launched their rockets for the first time and proudly watched them soar over fifty yards. They will now analyze their original designs and work to improve them to achieve even greater distance. The final rocket launch will take place on Tuesday, May 7.
